I am a high school coach, and my team had a writing project for tonight’s game. Each player was asked to write something positive about each teammate.

I gathered them up, grouped them by name and before the game gave each girl an envelope with 9 positive statements about them.
We played our hearts out. We didn’t win the game, but it didn’t matter, we showed ourselves what we are capable of. I was so proud of them.

Sonya, This is SO WONDERFUL. My fav of the month so far. I was at the game, so true, they played with their hearts, now I know why. The gifts you are sharing with your team will take them far beyond the court but what a great place to start. They are truly blessed to have you as their coach!
